New Paintings Coming

For past 6 weeks I've been taking a class at the Art School of Peterborough with Anne-Marie Kornachuk. She is a fabulous teacher and I admire her work a lot. I've created a lot of pieces since then and hope to complete them for a submission to an art show that will be held at AGP next year.

It's a Good Day

It is a good day today. What beautiful weather we've had for Thanksgiving Weekend. I hope everyone has a enjoyed some yummy turkey or is going to. Remember to gain 5 pounds. :)

A year ago today my favourite person in the whole world passed away. He was in his 15th year!

My new kitten Caesar! I picked him up on Friday; this is his 5th day living with me. He is super hyper and gets into everything he possibly can, and has about 4 naps a day. He is quite the little Spartan. ;)

Red Rose and Pink Lily Painting

New painting I made for friends who got married in July. Her bouquet had Pink Lilies and Red Roses in it. Took me about 4 days...could have been better if I hadn't have rushed it right before the wedding, but I think it turned out okay! Was sort of an abstract experiment with realism.
